1) Nothing is wrong if it feels good. In the words of William Blake, "The road of excess leads to a palace of wisdom."
2) There are no consequences. Go with your gut. Indecisiveness kills... time, people, fun and ideas..
3) On judgment: There is no right or wrong. Society may tell you yours is poor at times. Screw that. Believe what YOU want, judge however or whomever you'd like (everyone's doing it!)
4) Tread lightly. Never put too much faith in anyone or anything besides yourself (and maybe your family, if you're as blessed as I am).
5) Nothing good comes easily. Push yourself to achieve the things you desire. Be confident in your abilities, but always remember to bear in mind whats in reach (which I often get caught thinking is everything).
6) Travel to new places. Try new things.'Tis the spice of life. Our tastes buds change every seven years. Our free will is always present.
7) If life hands you lemons, ASK WHY. All of life is learning, NEVER stop asking questions.
8) FAVORS are one of the most tremendous and rewarding investments of your time. Do something for someone, go out of your way for them, and the deed shall be returned in one way or another. Intelligent, trust-worthy people remember these things.
9) On communicating: Do so effectively and thoroughly. Pay attention. The worst kind of neglect comes in the form of spelling and grammatical errors-- there is no excuse.
10) Listen-- especially to your elders, for they have a very valuable thing we do not: wisdom. As my dad says, "The less you say, the more people listen." That said, never hesitate to strike up a good conversation or engage in a well-rounded argument. This is what produces knowledge and spurs intellect.
Lastly, It IS OK to contradict yourself from time to time. Woops.
